Enjoyed your lesson on 2/18. Noticed the ad for the lesson came in at 7:23am and I didn’t check my email til 7pm…maybe a little longer warning would help. I tried to follow along with a G&L Comanche on the first part…it was good…told me I haven’t be spending enough time above the 12th fret. String blocking is good; remembering when too use it is another thing. Past month or so I’ve been watching DVD’s from Truefire on Kentucky Thumb Picking and Merl Travis style and staying mostly on an acoustic-electric Gretsch G5022CWFE and really not progressing with the fingers while keeping the bass going with the thumb. All the DVD’s make it look so easy, but my fingers don’t move like that. If you do a lesson on that, I’ll watch for it.
Hey Len, thanks for the comment. I’ve ALWAYS Wanted a G&L! How do you like yours?
That Gretch looks like a pretty sweet guitar too. If you could give me a little more specifics on what you are looking for me to explain in a lesson, I’ll be happy to do what I can!

Extremely useful tips explained lucidly. Thanks a ton.
Thanks Lawrence! Glad it helped. I’ll be doing a lot more of these so keep your eyes out for emails promoting the next time we do a live lesson
