If you didn’t know this already, Guitars have adjustments and can be setup for different playing styles. If your playing on your fiddle and it doesn’t feel that comfortable to play, don’t despair! It most likely just needs a tweak here and a tweak there and you’ll be good to go!

Because guitars are made primarily of wood, they are easily effected by climate changes, especially humidity! Ever feel the metal edges of your frets sticking out of the fretboard and catching on your hand? This most likely happens in the fall and winter. The air becomes very dry and sucks all the moisture out of the wood causing it to contract. Then when the spring and summer come around things loosen back up.
It’s a good idea to give your guitar a checkup to make sure it stays playing great during any season!

Teaching Others How To Play Guitar Makes You A Better Player!
I can honestly say that if I could attribute one main activity that has helped my playing more than anything I would have to say that teaching guitar is it! I understand that teaching isn’t always for everyone and I’m not saying to go out and try to do it professionally but grab a friend and try to show them a few chords or licks. When they ask you to explain it, you’ll find yourself approaching the instrument in a way you never did before!
